HIGH PERFORMANCE TEEN PROGRAM
High Performance Teen Program (age 13+)
Our Teen Program is geared toward athletes who are interested in becoming the strongest and most explosive version of themselves, whether in their sport outside of the gym or in Olympic Weightlifting! Our goal with this program is to set athletes up for long-term success at the university, national, or international levels of performance. No prior experience is necessary to join; we welcome anyone willing to commit to this journey! The Olympic Weightlifting season runs from September through early June, but this program can also fit into the off-season of any other sport.
How To Get Started
1. Schedule a call or come meet with us to find out more info - A introduction for you to ask any and all questions about our program, as well as our opportunity to get to know you, your goals, and your expectations. The best way to find out if we're the program for you!
2. Complete our onboarding program - If you're brand new to training, we will teach you the foundations of the lifts so you feel technically strong and have a confident grasp of the movements as you move into team training. If you're already an experienced weightlifter, just let us know and we'll hit the ground running after reviewing your goals, reviewing video, and discussing past programming!
3. Train and compete! - Come train in the sport of Weightlifting with the best coaches and community in Edmonton!
What To Expect
Practice schedule: - The team trains as a group with coaches Claudia & Alex 3 times per week on Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 5:30-7:30pm, as well as 1-2 other times per week during drop-in weightlifting hours based on other school, sport, or work commitments.
Yearly Calendar: - The program runs year-round, but individual athletes can jump in and out in conjunction with when training works for their sport season.
